We have made several updates to styling, and some of the content on the website. There are no new pages or formats.
A complete redesign of the website has been carried out. This was necessary for both styling, user accessibility and content management. The number of files required per release had become too large and unmanageable. The previous site was extensively reviewed and user journeys, page visits and other metrics reviewed as part of the redesign. While this redesign has resulted in the removal of several pages previously hosted, the new website is more streamlined and provides a foundation for future content additions.
The removal of any files or pages has only been done after careful review, and where in most cases if the data is not on this site it is available from IPD-IMGT/HLA or it’s GitHub repository. We discourage the downloading of data from this site for inclusion into production pipelines, as these pages are design to be human-readable and not designed to be ingested for computer pipelines. If you intend to download information from this site to input into computerised systems, we encourage you to look at the GitHub repository which has information in standardised, version controlled formats.

The HTML pages for nomenclature updates have been removed. A full list of links to these updates on PubMed can be found here.
Gene-specific reference lists have been removed due to file size limitations. You can now access references for individual alleles on the IPD-IMGT/HLA Database .
Individual gene pages have been removed due to limited content. We are working towards providing more detailed and comprehensive gene overviews in future updates.
